Ingredients list for the chuck roast in Ninja Foodi

Ingredients needed:

I’ve made this recipe with other onion soup mixes and it comes out good too. But I do prefer the organic and clean ingredients in the Primal Palate seasonings. So this recipe is made with that ingredient and it is the one that I would recommend above all others.

How to make this beef roast:

  1. Add olive oil to the Ninja Foodi pot. Sear/Sauté on high and cook the roast on each side for a few minutes until browned.
  2. Turn off the Foodi. Add the bone broth, sea salt and Primal Palate onion seasoning mix to the Foodi pot.
  3. Install the pressure cooking lid and switch the vent to “seal”. Select the pressure cooking setting and time to 1 hour and 30 minutes. Press start. Allow it to come to pressure and cook. When the Foodi is done switch the seal to “vent”. Carefully remove the lid when all of the steam has been released.
  4. Allow the meat to rest for a few minutes before slicing up. Serve with your favorite sides.

Helpful tip:

If you have leftovers, they can be stored in the fridge for a few days in an airtight container. And then can be reheated on the stove top with the leftover juices.

This recipe turned out perfect! First time pressure cooking in my Ninji Foodi, so I appreciated the step-by-step directions! Family raved about the roast – husband said multiple times how great dinner was! No heated up kitchen! Thank you!!
