creamy peanut butter
1/2
cup
local honey
3
cups
old fashioned rolled oats
1/2
cup

Instructions
Add honey and peanut butter to a large sauce pan over low heat. Stir together frequently to prevent scorching and until well combined.
Once the peanut butter and honey are well combined, stir in the oats.
Add the oat mixture to a 9X13 baking dish. Spread evenly and press down with a wooden spoon until the top is smooth and even.
Allow to cool only slightly and then press the chocolate chips on top.
Cool the granola bars completely before slicing (about an hour). Or add to the refrigerator to speed up cooling time!
Slice in to desired granola bar size.
